Business Ed

Computer Skills – 1
This course teaches development/refinement of keyboarding and formatting skills followed by basic computer literacy dealing with terminology, computer operations, and ethics.  The course includes an introduction to the usage of common applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software.

Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC 3) – 1
This two-semester computer course covers the three modules of the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC 3). Students will have the opportunity to sit for the three exams, and upon successful completion of all three will receive IC 3 certification as well as college credit through ACE (American Council of Education). The Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC 3) program is a global, standards-based training and certification program for basic computing and Internet knowledge and skills. Students must have a “C” or better in this course at the semester to stay in the course the following semester. (Course Fee: $100)

Accounting - 1
This class is a study of business transactions and their classification in a double-entry system, using manual entry. It is a study of the complete cycle for a single proprietorship and partnership.
