Mr. Johnson attended Fletcher Academy and graduated from Mount Pisgah Academy. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree (PE Major, History Minor) from Southern Adventist University. In addition, Mr. Johnson is working towards a Masters in Education Administration.

Mr. Johnson taught three years at Indiana Academy as Boys’ Dean, PE Teacher, Boys’ Basketball Coach, Gymnastics Coach and Intramural Director. This is Mr. Johnson’s 8th year at Fletcher Academy, and he states that “Because I had such a positive academy experience I try to help all students of Fletcher Academy have a positive academy experience as well.”

His hobbies include watching and playing all sports, and traveling around the United States and the world to see historical landmarks and events.

Mr. Johnson has lived in the Fletcher area all of his life, except for the 3 years in Indiana. He and his wife, Renae, have been married for 10 years and they have two sons.
